StarWatch SMS Description
Comprising a full suite of hardware and software modules, the StarWatch™ SMS platform incorporates access control, intrusion detection, and video management while seamlessly integrating the sophisticated data presented by the latest generation of security technologies. StarWatch SMS offers real time connections to any system or sensor utilized within a facility, ensuring that all elements of an event are clearly presented and acted upon instantaneously. Via an intuitive, Windows-based GUI, system operators maintain complete situational awareness across all entry points, critical zones, and perimeters.
An elegant workstation environment offers enhanced functionality with GIS-based real time graphics, dockable / floating windows, and cooperative views providing simple workflows for alarms and graphics. Additionally, a relational database structure supports advanced reporting functions.
With built-in BACnet compliance, StarWatch SMS also provides users with the unique opportunity to merge security functionality with Building Automation Systems (BAS). In use at hundreds of thousands of installations around the world, BACnet provides a common protocol that can be used by virtually any type of building automation equipment, including HVAC, lighting, energy management, and life safety systems, regardless of manufacturer. By definition, ICIDS is a highly secured, standardized intrusion detection system using state-of-the-art commercial technology. The system components consist of commercially available interior and exterior sensors, a primary monitoring console, remote status monitors, remote area data collectors, closed circuit television, and entry control systems. The mission of the program is to provide the means to detect and assess the unauthorized intrusion or attempted intrusions of protected areas.
