Callisto Documentation
Callisto remote technology is primarily used by electric utilities to control and monitor the distribution of power in substation and pole top environments. Over a system-wide communications network, alarm and power quality information is generated and reported to a central site, where system operators command a wide array of control options. Such operations as opening and closing remotely located circuit breakers and switching reactive loads to improve efficiency are performed on an event-specific basis or fully automated through system configuration software. Using highly customizable remotes and integrated software packages, Callisto products are able to meet the requirements of today's most demanding SCADA applications.
Callisto offers proven, open solutions for distributed substation applications via a sophisticated communications architecture that allows simple integration of Intelligent Electronic Devices (IEDs) and an extensive list of supported protocols. Utilizing the modular design of system components, DAQ engineers are able to easily design multi-card systems that directly match the requirements of specific applications. Additionally, DAQ offers cost-effective, custom retrofit equipment for all types of existing RTUs, enabling utilities to upgrade equipment with minimal investment.

The CallistoView versions provided below represent our most commonly requested legacy releases. If you require a release that is not listed here, please visit our SCADA Help Desk and submit a ticket to our technical team listing the version number you need.
The following notes apply to all CallistoView releases:
- Include all service packs created for previous versions
- Bundled with the appropriate version of PILOT
- Does not require a previous installation of CallistoView
- DAQ recommends installing to default settings
- Will not overwrite RTU Configurations directory
